The Ferret Pit

The Ferret Pit

Yet another pointless, needless weblog that's gonna be used to get pointless and needless attention. Yay.

Now Playing: Legendary Rock - Gitaroo Man (Ailsean Remix)

Well, Silver Hand's down. Again.

*shrug*

Xenosaga II comes out next month. I'm excited about it. I'd be more excited, but I'm kinda sleepy and going to take a nap soon, so the most happy I can get right now is a sort of mellow-happy, or mappy, if you prefer.

Also next month is the Dear Friends Final Fantasy concert. Now that gets me beyond mappy to enthusiatically elated in all possible ways. Or it would, if I wasn't needing a nap and thus a bit more subdued than usual.

Meanwhile, in Harvest Moon land, I have reached Fall of my second year. Being the uber-farmer that I am, I have set my field up like this (bear with my cruddy ascii art)

And the rest is grass, of course. Little corrals for my chickens and sheep and cows and whatnot.... Anyway, as Fall is the Cash Crop Season I've planted nothing but Sweet Potatos in those last two rows. I've done the calculations and, with the Harvest Sprites helping me, I grow 7*9*2= 126 sweet potates every two days. At 120G per crop, I make a whopping 15, 120 G every two days! And that's not including whatever else happens to be ripe at the time. I'm easily making 20K here on just my crops alone! Can you imagine what'll happen when all my animals start giving P and Gold produce? The mind boggles! Ph34r teh cut3 1s! (Pardon my leet. I'll never do it again, I promise.)

I am the Queen of Farming.

Now Playing: The Scientist - Coldplay

Holy Taruen patties, Batman, I've got feedback!

Hi, Jen! *preens*

In other news (which I'm writing since my WoW server's down), DeVry is starting a Game Developers Club this Wednesday. And guess who's the President?

That's right. Me.

One of the Deans put me in charge of the whole kit-and-caboodle... which is so freakin' awesome that it defies any pathetic words I might use to convey my current state of emotion.

I mean... ME! In charge of developing a GAME! An honest to goodness game!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Excuse me, I must compose myself....

...
...
...

Okay, that's better.

In other, other news, I have hit a gaming milestone today. I have finally made it to my second year in a Harvest Moon game. Yes, I know, it's minor, but, gosh-dangit, I'm just as addicted to farming as I am to World of Warcraft! It makes no sense!

I'm truly convinced that Friends of Mineral Town is the only GBA game I'll ever need...

Now Playing: Intension of the Earth - Final Fantasy V: Dear Friends

Oh. My. God.

I love sap.

I mean, I know I've had this realization before when I discovered that I love shoujo anime...

But, I mean, I love sap. It just hit me as a ton of bricks while I was readin' the World of Warcraft forum... I really, truly, positiviely love sap.

Dear Lord, if this is true... then what happens next? Will my dark, angsty musings give way to more... emotionally taunt yet strangley warm and fuzzy moments? Will we see less writings of the Green Eyes archtype and more leanings towards the Loyalty camp?

Will I be unable to write dark-fics? Is this the end of my angst?

Oh, man... I think I just scared myself... *shudder*

Now Playing: Devil and the Wishing Well - Five for Fighting

World of Warcraft.

It's addicting. Too addicting. Been playin' it for a nearly a month now (and I'm only 28. Work and school does that...) and I have to say that this is the best darn Internet game I've ever played.

I still miss Terris, though....

In other news, Christmas is over, and my sister brought me a can of Whoop Ass from California. Yeah, a real can of Whoop Ass. It's all Japanesey and cool, yet it's American.

I'm waiting for just the right time to open it. I'm sure the scenario would go something like this:

Me: Hey! You punk! *whips out the Can* Don't make me open this on you!

Punk: Bwahaha! You wouldn't dare!

Me: Oh, yeah? Watch me! *Pops the tab and chugs* AH! Now that's satisfying! I feel my energy and my faith in mankind being restored! Take this! *Gives the punk the beating of his life*

Me: And, so, once again, the power of Whoop Ass has prevailed! I rule, suxx0rz!

...
...
...

And, no, I'm not using this post as a reason to write "ass" a lot.

Really, I'm not.

...

Ass.
